Additional Information

What you’ll need:

  1. A playing card

  2. An empty paper towel roll

  3. A blanket

  4. Bitewing tabs (we’ll give you these)

Take a playing card that you don’t need, like a joker, and cut it into a small rectangle; place the bitewing tab on the card (see image below). Have your child sit in a chair, covering their shoulders with a blanket to mimic our lead apron.

Get your child to bite onto the bitewing tab gently, holding it with their teeth so that the card is between their back teeth and tongue. Now hold the paper towel roll close to their cheek on the same side as the card, to imitate our camera head. The goal is for them to hold still, keeping the card gently in place while you slowly count to 3. At first, they may only play with it, or barely put it in their mouths, but with practice they can do it!
