Stemming from a desire to make dental visits fun and easy and for children to stay close to their parents
during visits, Dr. Jackson founded Asheville Pediatric Dentistry in 2007. When she learned about Solea,
the all-tissue dental laser (“healing light”) that makes almost all dental restorations possible without
numbing, she knew she had to make this technology available to our community and spread the word to
other practitioners. Now Dr. Jackson is honored to be one of five dentists on Solea’s Clinical Advisory Board and teaches it nationwide.
When she’s not helping people or teaching, Dr. Jackson enjoys spending time with her family. She feels
blessed with her husband of over 20 years, their two children, and fluffy Tibetan Terrier. Together their
family loves getting outdoors, doing games together, and exercising. Loving God and loving people are two of the most important things to her (Matthew 22: 37-40).
Dr. Sean Killpack (many find it easier to say, “Dr. K”) was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and grew up in Southeastern Missouri. He has lived in many different places including New Mexico, Utah, Illinois, Wisconsin, and North Carolina. Additionally, during his early college years, he lived abroad in Southern Brazil for two years where he learned to speak fluent Portuguese and served as a missionary for his church. It has always been his dream to work with and care for kids, and he feels very privileged to learn from and work alongside Dr. Jackson.
Outside of the office, Dr. K enjoys spending time with his family. He’s been married to his wife, Johanna, for over 10 years, and together they have three amazing children, one boy and two identical twin girls! They love to travel to Sweden where Johanna is from. They also love to hike the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains with their rescue dog, Doug. They are so happy to call Asheville their home and look forward to meeting you and your family!
Our schedule may be delayed in order to accommodate an injured child.
Please accept our apologies in advance should this occur during your appointment. We would do the same if your child were in need of
emergency treatment.
